Night Riders
Towards Night (aka TN) is fortunate to have an amazing community across multiple platforms, including over 2.1K followers on Twitch, 2.8K on TikTok, and nearly 800 subscribers on YouTube. These supporters, who have followed, shared feedback, donated, and contributed in countless ways, make up the Night Riders. Their encouragement and support have inspired and motivated TN to pursue making this his full-time career. To do that, he needs to grow his audience, and to that end, he has created The Satellite Initiative.
Welcome to the Satellite Initiative
Using the metaphor of satellite signal flow, the Satellite Initiative is a collaboration of Night Riders working together to share TN’s content, grow his audience, and help him achieve ambitious goals. This initiative aims to build momentum, celebrate current members, and reach new heights through creativity, connection, and community.
This is an opportunity for those who appreciate TN’s artistry and believe in his journey to join a proactive and organized movement that supports his growth. It’s also a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, form new friendships, and celebrate the shared wins along the way.
To help facilitate this, a dedicated section of the Discord will be available exclusively for the Satellite team—a space to collaborate, share updates, and build connections. As a thank-you for being part of the journey, future plans include offering perks to participants, such as discounted merch, exclusive streams, raffles, contests, and more. The Satellite Initiative is about coming together to support TN while fostering creativity, community, and pride in what we can achieve as a team.
The Teams
Our Satellite Initiative is divided into specialized teams, modeled after real-world satellite operations:
Satellite Ground Control
Ground Control (aka the moderator team) plays a vital role in ensuring TN’s streams and community spaces are safe, organized, and welcoming. This team monitors platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. They handle essential tasks like enforcing community guidelines, welcoming new viewers with shoutouts, managing chat interactions, pinning important messages, and running tools like the streamer songlist to enhance engagement. Additionally, they help troubleshoot live-stream issues, thank supporters for their donations and contributions, and give shoutouts to stream ‘raiders’ on platforms like Twitch. Ground Control serves as the foundation of the Night Riders community, maintaining an environment where everyone feels included and valued.
Satellite Engineers
Engineers are the architects and brainstormers of the Satellite Initiative, working creatively and strategically to grow TN’s reach. There are many ways to contribute as an Engineer, depending on individual strengths and interests. Some may design eye-catching graphics, some may focus on crafting compelling copy, while others may be strong at brainstorming fresh promotional ideas, or building connections and opportunities.
More examples of the things Engineers do include creating promotional materials, scouting potential raid targets, seeking collaboration opportunities, and crafting content to connect with more people. Each Engineer brings their own unique skills to help move TN’s dream forward, shaping the vibe of the Night Riders along the way.
Relay Squad
The Relay Squad is the action team, taking the ideas and strategies developed by Engineers and making them a reality. They are the driving force behind spreading TN’s content and ensuring it reaches as many people as possible.
Some of the things this team will do include sharing TN’s content across platforms, engaging with posts by liking and commenting, and supporting streams through lurking, watching, and interacting. They also respectfully recommend TN’s streams and community when appropriate and carry out campaigns and strategies to grow the audience. Fellow streamers can even play a role in the Relay Squad by raiding TN’s streams or giving shoutouts during their own. The Relay Squad turns plans into action, helping the Night Riders expand and thrive.
How It All Comes Together
Each team is essential to the success of the Satellite Initiative, working together like a well-coordinated satellite system. Ground Control keeps streams and community spaces safe and welcoming, ensuring the foundation stays strong. Engineers generate the creative ideas, strategies, and tools that move the initiative forward. The Relay Squad executes those ideas, making sure TN’s content connects with more people and reaches new heights.
Without Ground Control, the community would be vulnerable to disruption. Without Engineers, there would be no fresh ideas or strategies. Without the Relay Squad, the plans would never become reality. Each role is equally important, and together, they ensure the Satellite Initiative runs smoothly and effectively. And if you’re interested in being in multiple teams, you’re welcome to be on more than one team.
Launch Goals
Goal 1: $1,900 Tip Goal
We’re launching "The 24/7 TN Show", a 24/7 marathon streaming event on Twitch and YouTube to help TN stay afloat while he continues searching for a new day job. After working for nine years at a company that filed for bankruptcy and laid everyone off, TN has been actively applying for jobs but has yet to find something that matches his previous role. This marathon will feature all the live content you love—freestyling, looping, karaoke, gaming, and more—plus interactive rewards and perks.
Ground Control can help by checking in and making sure everything is running smoothly, Engineers can brainstorm ideas to bring more people into the stream, and the Relay Squad can support by organizing raids, spreading the word, and simply being active participants in the stream.

Goal 2: Reach 1,000 YouTube Subscribers
You can help by subscribing to the channel, watching videos, and even playing the live stream in the background on another browser tab (muted is fine!). Every view and watch hour counts toward reaching the goal. Your support can make a massive difference in hitting this milestone and bringing TN closer to a more sustainable creative career.
Goal 3: Hit a 25-Viewer Average on Twitch
We’re working toward a consistent 25-viewer average on Towards Night's Twitch channel, a key step toward eventually reaching the 70-viewer average needed for Twitch Partner status. Consistent viewership boosts TN’s visibility in Twitch’s algorithm, making it easier for new people to discover the stream.
You can help by lurking (leaving the stream open in the background), suggesting TN’s stream for raids, and spreading the word to others who might enjoy the content. Every viewer helps move the needle toward this goal.
Reaching this milestone will also mark the relaunch of TN & Guests, which will start fresh with season one and a revamped format. This refreshed version will offer exciting new content and collaboration opportunities, but TN wants to ensure a strong audience before bringing on guests. With an average of 25 viewers, the stream will provide a more engaging and supportive experience for guests, making collaborations even more impactful.
